Sandra Stuart, a Wemba Wemba woman
speaks about denial, segregation, language and education.

Sandra Stuart is a Wamba Wamba woman who grew up in Robinvale, Victoria. She speaks from Mildura where she has worked for many years in Aboriginal education. She speaks about the vital need to acknowledge the dark history of Australia for the well-being of all Australians . She guides me to the public art beside the Murray River, created by Barkindji man Badger Bates. His sculpture speaks for the many creatures, peoples and cultures that have endured here through Indigenous education and cultural practices.
